This appears to be nothing more than a gift to special interests at the public's expense. Why should public land and water be used and destroyed for the private sector's benefit? What happened to capitalism? The private sector wants unfettered capitalism except when they want a public handout. Gov. Mills likes to talk out of both sides of her mouth. She has three trees on her campaign logo, yet supports clearcutting and aerial herbicide spraying. She touts Maine's beauty then seeks its destruction with projects like this.
