Maine Ocean Acidification Bill:legislative committee debates bill, "tables" it indefinitely.

On April 8, 2014, the Maine Legislature's Marine Resources Committee held a work session on   LD 493 Act to create the Ocean Acidification Council. A great deal of discussion on whether the government or the academic/NGO communities should host the Council led to a motion for "ought not to pass", but  then a motion to "table" the bill was raised and passed, suspends the motion on ONTP
